CE Smith Trailer Fenders - No Step - CE17700G Review- Video
Today, we're going to review part number CE17700G. This is the CE Smith Pre-Galvanized Steel Single-Axle Trailer Fender for 8 inch wheels. This round fender will cover one tire on your single-axle trailer. It does act as a splash-guard, helps keep road debris from hitting other vehicles, and it'll help protect your trailer's cargo. It's made of a sturdy pre-galvanized 16-gauge steel construction, and this can be primed and then painted to provide even more resistance to corrosion and to match your trailer's paint finish. A little background, basically, on the pre-galvanized steel parts: they are stamped from a sheet of steel after it already has been galvanized, so what happens is the edges of the pre-galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of this, the thinness of the coating, of the zinc, which is usually like less than a millimeter, and the fact that these edges remain exposed, these pre-galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so it is recommended that they should be primed and then painted. This is a bolt-on installation. more

Here on the ends it's going to feature two mounting slots on each end. If we take a measurement, the distance that we have between those slots, center on center, it's going to give us a measurement of 2 1/2 inches and those slots are going to measure a half inch by half inch. It's going to feature a nice, convenient top step. This is going to offer a 300 pound weight capacity and it has a nice, textured surface to ensure that you get a nice, secure grip when using the step portion of the fender. more

It's made from a 16-gauge steel construction, so that way you can prime this and paint it to customize it and match your trailer. It also has a 1" curve lip here on the front or the outside. Redline Single Axle Trailer Fender Installation- Video
Today on our trailer were going to be replacing an old or missing fender. Well be using the new redline single axle trailer fender part number F9X32-1R for 14 to 15 inch wheels. Now because the older original fender is already missing, well go ahead and take our fender and set it into position. Then well measure from the end of each fender to the bottom of the trailer to make sure the fender is centered on the tire. Now weve got our location marked, well go ahead and remove the wheel for easy access to secure it. Well now go ahead and set the fender back into position and then get an extra hand to help with hold it into position while we use the self tapping screws to secure it. Note, well be screwing into the steel support structure underneath the sheath metal siding. more

Today were going to review part number F9X32-1RWB. This is the Redline Trailer Fender. This trailer fender is made of 16 gauge steel construction. It is designed for single axle trailers with 14 or 15 inch tires. This is a weld on application and it does have a one inch radius on the front of the fender here and on the back it is a 90 degree edge for mounting onto your trailer. It does have a preinstalled backing, fender back right here and this will serve as a splash guard to keep any road debris from out of your trailer bed. more

Fulton Trailer Fenders - Top Step - F008554 Review- Video
Today were going to review part number F008554. This is the Fulton Plastic Trailer Fender with the top step. This fender is made of a high density polyethylene material, which will make it corrosion proof, impact resistant and able to handle high temperatures. The molded color in this case black will make scratches virtually invisible. It does have the built in top step here. This part is made in the USA and the application this does fit the trailers with 14 inch tires. more

Redline Aluminum Tread Plate Trailer Fender Installation- Video
Today on this old trailer we are going to install part number J101733AT. This is a diamond plate aluminum fender. Our trailer has already had the previous fender removed and all we have to do is clean off the excess sealant that was around the fender. You can see how the trailer did have a blowout and the side of the trailer is damaged. The fender now is going to be a little bit shorter than the original, but it will still fit in the same place. We will go ahead and hold the fender up and line it up with the original line so we can make our marks in our inside of our fender. more
